This specific role is focused on technical solution sales and deployment of Infra solution in the areas of Storage (Block and File), Compute (including HCI) and Backup / Data Protection solutions. Knowledge and exposure to OpenStack, Cloud technologies will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Value articulation of OEM specific solutions in Storage, Compute and Backup solutions by means of corelating BOM of E2E (End to End) solutions of Giniminds solution offerings.
  • Work with OEM’s and other partners to stitch E2E solutions as per client’s requirements
  • Create cost competitive and compliant BOM’s as per client’s requirements working with OEM teams.
  • Create SOW and validate the SOW for accurate effort estimations
  • Create HLD / LLD based on BOM and be prepared to do onsite installations (for non-complex solutions)
  • Engage with partners to get the complex solutions implemented by Giniminds partners echo system
  • Assist in performing assessment services to determine the challenges faced by customer and map to giniminds solution offerings.
  • Wear multiple hats of pre-sales engineer post sale solution architect for Infra solutions
  • Continue to create new pipeline for Giniminds solution offerings and work with sales teams for successful closure of business proposals.
  • Continue to participate in sales/solution reviews and be a strategic part of Giniminds team to grow, scale and enable Giniminds to be first choice of partner to customer.

Required Skills

  • Experience: 4-5 years field experience in selling / configuring / managing storage & backup solutions for medium to enterprise customers.
  • Technical Acumen – Good understanding Infra solutions related to Storage, Backup, DR and Compute (including HCI)
  • Strong understanding of latest technology trends and solutions in Storage / Backup Industry
  • Strong acumen to respond to RFP by mapping a compliant solution offerings and OEM specific solutions and Giniminds solution offerings.
  • Understanding of various virtualization technologies
  • Strong, working verbal and written business and technical communication skills.
  • Certifications: Any OEM certification in Storage & Backups (Hitachi, DELL/EMC, NETAPP, NUTANIX, VERITAS, VEAM, COMMVAULT etc.)

Desired Skills

  • Good understanding of Data Center storage and backup architecture(s) in a highly virtualized environment leveraging a mixed environment of blades, rack-mounts, disparate storage infrastructures and network design.
  • Scripting knowledge enabling automation of simple/routine tasks. Ability to work with echo system of Giniminds partners, customers.

As a structural data modeler, you will be working closely with data architects and data analysts to design an enterprise data modelling solution that can integrate various data sets across an enterprise is most optimal manner by reducing the query complexity and improving query response times enterprise environments.

To ensure success as a data modeler, you should have

  • In-depth knowledge of RDBMS, data warehousing, ETL, data ingestion to pipeline creation and management concepts, as well as analytical ability to visualize and understand various structural data models and its pros and cons.
  • Skills to interact with data analysts, big data professionals, information management experts, Data Science engineers from customers, partners, and OEMs alike.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with physical and relational data-modeling and ETL concepts in enterprise environments.
  • Expert knowledge of metadata management and related tools.
  • Knowledge of mathematical foundations and statistical analysis.
  • Ability to write PERL / PYTHON scripts with understanding of XML and JSON.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with team management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • Exposure to one or more of data modelling tools (Graph DB, ER/Studio, Erwin Data modeler, Archi, TOAD DM or any other Open-source tools)
