The MFT solution secures the data and encrypts the file Once transfer set up is done, the MFT solution receives the data and secures by using FIPS 140-2 compliance AES ciphers, Open PGP, or others to encrypt the files, and any of the protocols to encrypt the transfer. Some solutions let you zip or compress the files, too.

The recipent receives the data delivery The decrpytion of file is done by the recipent. The secured file is then transferred to the desired location as designated by the user to the folder on different servers, email address etc.
